Terms of use
Fair terms for an independent comparison service.
These terms explain what EV Matchup provides, what buyers remain responsible for checking and how the website may be used.
1. Using EV Matchup
By using this website, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website or submit information through its forms.
2. The service
EV Matchup provides vehicle comparison tools, editorial guides, estimated state-based drive-away prices and dealership contact routes. The information is intended to help with initial research and does not constitute personal, financial, legal, mechanical or purchasing advice.
3. No vehicle sale or agency relationship
EV Matchup is not a vehicle dealer, broker, finance provider or agent for a manufacturer or dealership. A comparison, enquiry or referral does not create a purchase agreement. Any vehicle transaction is arranged separately between you and the relevant seller under their own terms.
4. Accuracy and changes
We take reasonable care when compiling information, but vehicle specifications, prices, government charges, incentives, stock and dealer networks can change without notice. Overseas images or specifications may differ from Australian-delivered vehicles. You must confirm material details with an official manufacturer or dealer before acting.
5. Enquiries and external contact routes
The form will state whether an enquiry is in test mode and who is expected to receive it. Phone and website links connect you to a third party. EV Matchup does not control third-party response times, privacy practices, stock or offers.
6. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the website, submit false or unlawful information, impersonate another person, attempt to interfere with security, scrape the service at unreasonable volume or use automated systems to create spam enquiries.
7. Intellectual property and brands
EV Matchup’s original writing, layout and comparison presentation are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Manufacturer names, vehicle names, logos, photographs and other third-party materials remain the property of their respective owners and are used for identification and informational comparison.
8. Availability and liability
We may correct, update, suspend or remove content or features. To the extent permitted by law, EV Matchup is not responsible for loss caused by reliance on outdated or incorrect information, third-party websites, unavailable vehicles or a dealership’s acts or omissions.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot legally be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Updates and contact
We may update these terms as EV Matchup changes. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply. Questions or concerns can be submitted through the contact page.
